NCAA FBS Rankings Week 6:

  1. Alabama 5-0 SEC: The Crimson Tide won 49-26 over Arkansas away. Alabama dominated a very good Razorback team.
  2. Georgia 5-0 SEC: Georgia won 26-22 away against Missouri. The Bulldogs barely escaped the Tigers.
  3. Ohio State 5-0 Big Ten: The Buckeyes continue to win by huge margins defeating Rutgers 49-10.
  4. USC 5-0 Pac-12: USC struggled to separate from a failing Arizona State team, but in the end, would win 42-25 over a Sun Devils team that before, played well away against Oklahoma State. So, it is tough to know which Arizona State side USC beat.
  5. Clemson 5-0 ACC: Clemson had another Top 25 win in a row, this time defeating NC State at home, 30-20.
  6. Oklahoma State 4-0 Big 12: Oklahoma State defeated a Top 25 Baylor side, 36-25, and away, further solidifying their Top 10 status.
  7. Michigan 5-0 Big Ten: Michigan won away 27-14 over Iowa.
  8. Ole Miss 5-0 SEC: Ole Miss won a close home win over Kentucky, 22-19, in a Top 10 game.
  9. Tennessee 4-0 SEC: Tennessee had a bye week.
  10. Penn State 5-0 Big Ten: Penn State barely defeated a bad performing Northwestern team, 17-7, away. However, the Nittany Lions are  still undefeated.
  11. Oregon 4-1 Pac-12: Oregon had a good home win over Stanford 45-27. The Ducks were up 45-17 at one point.
  12. Utah 4-1 Pac-12: Utah won a huge victory over Oregon State, 42-16. The Utes have a tough game this week away to UCLA.
  13. TCU 4-0 Big 12: TCU won a huge home win over Oklahoma, 55-24. The Horned Frogs are very good this season and showed it against the Sooners.
  14. Kentucky 4-1 SEC: Kentucky barely lost, 19-22, to Ole Miss. The Wildcats can still be a CFP team if they win out.
  15. NC State 4-1 ACC: NC State lost away, 20-30, against Clemson in a close game that displayed how good the Wolfpacks can be this season.
  16. UCLA 5-0 Pac-12: UCLA had a very impressive 40-32 home win over Washington, and the Bruins were up 40-16 at one point. UCLA have a very difficult home game this Saturday against Utah. A Bruins win over the Utes could see UCLA in the Top 10.
  17. Syracuse 5-0 ACC: Syracuse won 59-0 over Wagner to go 5-0.
  18. Kansas 5-0 Big 12: Kansas won 14-11 over a good Iowa State side at home. The Jayhawks are continuing to win and be undefeated.
  19. Wake Forrest 4-1 ACC: Wake Forrest lost in overtime to Clemson a week before, send then came back with a 31-21 away win over Florida State.
  20. James Madison 5-0 Sun Belt: James Madison had a very good home win over Texas State, 40-13. The Dukes continue their undefeated season.
  21. Kansas State 4-1 Big 12: Kansas State won 37-28 over Texas Tech in a very good home win. The Wildcats’ only loss was a 10-17 loss to Tulane.
  22. Mississippi State 4-1 SEC: Mississippi State   had a big home victory over Texas A&M, 42-24. The Bulldogs are very good this season, but their schedule is very difficult.
  23. Washington 4-1 Pac-12: The Huskies suffered a setback 32-40 loss away to UCLA. Washington still have a chance to win out and make it to the CFP.
  24. Florida State 4-1 ACC: The Seminoles suffered a 21-31 home loss to Wake Forrest.
  25. Cincinnati 4-1 AAC: Cincinnati continues to win following their opening loss, this time 31-21 in an away win over Tulsa.
  • Washington State 4-1 Pac-12: Washington State had a really  good home win, 28-9, over UC Berkeley. The Cougars are doing well this season and another win this next week should mean a Top 25 spot. Unfortunately for Washington State, the Cougars have to play away to USC this week.
  • LSU 4-1 SEC: LSU won 21-17 away against Auburn. The Tigers now are close to a Top 25 team again.
  • Illinois 4-1 Big Ten: Illinois defeated Wisconsin 34-10 away and the Fighting Illini look very good this week.
  • Maryland 4-1 Big Ten: Maryland won 27-13 at home over Michigan State. The Terrapins are proving to play like a Top 25 team, and their only loss was away to Michigan.
  • Duke 4-1 ACC: Duke won 38-17 over Virginia at home. The Blue Devils’ only loss was an away loss to Top 25 Kansas.
  • South Alabama 4-1 Sun Belt: South Alabama had a very good win away over Louisiana-Lafayette, 20-17. The Jaguars only loss so far this season was a 31-32 away loss against undefeated UCLA.
  • Liberty 4-1 Independent: Liberty won an away game over Old Dominion 38-24. Liberty’s only loss so far is a 36-37 away loss to Top 25 Wake Forrest.
  • Minnesota 4-1 Big Ten: Minnesota suffered their first loss, 10-20 to Purdue at home.
  • North Carolina 4-1 ACC: North Carolina dominated Virginia Tech at home, 41-10, to improve to 4-1.
  • BYU 4-1 Independent: BYU beat rivals Utah State 38-26.
